You can access this by selecting a specific island while on the navigation screen on your boat. The game keeps track of your overall completion on each island. Many of these contain heart pieces, which are needed for Vitality. You should also keep an eye out for any treasure chests. This will let you know how many Bloodstones are located on the island you are currently on, and it will alert you when one is nearby. In order to obtain these crystals, you will need to whack them many times with your sword! When you get your first 500 coins, you should buy the radar from the shop in Tikarel.
